Reformation Service

Join us on November 5 as we celebrate the 500th anniversary of the Reformation.  On October 31, 1517, Martin Luther posted 95 theses, or discussion points, to the door of a church in a back-woods town in Germany.  By the end of the year, with the help of the newly invented printing press, Luther's theses had gone viral and spread throughout Germany and Europe.  As Luther continued studying God's Word, He came to the realization that the true message of the Bible, that we are saved through faith in Jesus Christ alone, was being hidden by the church of his day.

As we gather for worship on Nov. 5, we'll be celebrating the return of the church to that pure teaching of Scripture, that it is by God's grace, through faith, in Christ alone that we are saved from the due punishment of our sins!

As we live in the days between Jesus' ascension into heaven after His death and ressurection and His return on the Last Day, we ask that He would continue to watch over us and keep us safe.  This Fall, as our focus turns to those End Times in which we are living and we ask that Jesus would help us be mindful of four things:
